Worship/Production Ministry App
Interested in being a part of the team?
These are key items we look for in those who are interested in the worship and production ministry:
Conversion: those who have repented of their sin and have come to know Jesus Christ in a personal way as Lord and Saviour
Cultivating: those who are in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and working on developing intimacy with Him through the spiritual disciplines of Bible, reading, prayer, and accountability.
Character: those who want to glorify God through stewardship of their gifts, servanthood in the attitude of ministry and a teachable spirit at all times.
Competency: those who have musical aptitudes and are desirous to grow in excellence as they improve those abilities.
Committed: those who have attended Hope Church for a minimum of two months, have attended Hope Essentials, and who are prepared to demonstrate commitment to meetings, practices, maintaining team relationships, and to the support of Hope Church.
Chemistry: those who are able and desire to work as team players in a team ministry and respect lines of authority
Covenant: those who have read the Hope Church Worship Ministries Covenant and are in full agreement with it
Worship Ministry Covenant
I recognize that ministry is a gift of God’s grace for the purpose of bringing Him glory, and I desire to serve God and be a good steward by faithfully using the gifts He has given me.
I believe the foundation for this ministry is a heart that seeks after God, evidenced by the regular practice of personal worship, prayer, Bible study and Christian fellowship.
I will pray regularly for the corporate worship of Hope Church that God’s power might be our strength and enabling.
I understand that as a worship team member, by virtue of my visibility, my life is under scrutiny. With God’s help I will seek to maintain a life of purity and obedience to God’s Word.
I understand this is a team ministry and I will endeavour to work with a servant’s heart, being reliable, punctual, and responsible.
I support the ministry of Hope Church, its vision, and the vision of the worship ministry. I will speak about Hope in a constructive manner and place myself under the authority of the Worship Ministry Leader and the church leadership.
I will seek to preserve team unity by practicing Biblical conflict resolution, approaching one who has offended or whom I have an open communication with and that the enemy would not be granted any opportunity to bring dissension, disunity, or division.
